How long does a residential solar installation take?

Most home systems (5–15 kWp) are installed in one to two days once equipment is on site. We handle permitting and grid registration in parallel, so the total time from contract signing to a live system is typically three to five weeks.

What is the payback period for solar in Dnipro?

Based on current electricity tariffs and Dnipro's average solar irradiation (1,350+ kWh/m²/year), most residential systems pay back in five to seven years. Commercial systems with higher self-consumption often reach payback in four to six years. We provide a detailed projection for your specific site.

Do I need planning permission for rooftop solar panels?

In most cases, residential rooftop solar in Ukraine does not require separate planning approval, though grid-connection paperwork is required for grid-tied systems. We manage all documentation and liaise with your distribution system operator on your behalf.

What happens to surplus electricity I generate?

Under Ukraine's net-metering law, surplus energy exported to the grid is credited against your bill at a defined rate. Alternatively, a battery system lets you store and use your surplus energy yourself — often the better financial option for households.

Do solar panels work on cloudy days or in winter?

Yes. Modern monocrystalline panels produce electricity in diffuse light, not just direct sunlight. Output is reduced on overcast days and in winter due to shorter daylight hours, but Dnipro has one of the better solar resources in Ukraine. We account for seasonal variation in all our yield calculations.

What warranty and after-sales support do you offer?

We provide a 10-year workmanship warranty on all installations. Panels carry the manufacturer's 25-year linear power output warranty, and inverters typically come with 5–10 year warranties extendable to 15 years. Our maintenance plans include annual on-site inspections and year-round remote monitoring.
